DAMTEC® Standard is a popular and extremely resilient rubber and cork composite acoustic underlay manufactured from recycled materials. Due to its high grade, raw material composition and acoustic properties, this product under typical carpeted flooring applications will acoustically assist and enhance the flooring systems Impact sound performance. In addition, it also provides consistent performance and long-term durability as it will not compress like most foam underlays whilst at the same time also providing you with softness under foot. This product comes in roll form and is very quick and easy to install ensuring a reliable and efficient installation.

Installation of Damtec® Standard is quick and easy. It may be loose laid or adhered, depending on your application using a suitable adhesive. It cushions the floor finish, therefore reducing wear and footfall sound. This versatile underlay also provides excellent resiliency and elastic properties, which make for highest quality floors. Damtec® Standard is fire-resistant in accordance with the strict DIN 4102 B2 rating and has high thermal conductivity, providing excellent heat transfer from under floor heating systems. This material is extremely lightweight and is 100% recyclable.

Damtec® Comfort is a unique, finely structured closed-cell rubber pad with a velvety surface. It is ideally suited for use in problem areas such as stairways and rooms with castor-mounted chairs. Damtec® Comfort has a wide service temperature range (-30°C to 80°C) and is fire-resistant in accordance with the strict DIN 4102 B2 rating. It is an outstanding underlay for floors in heavy-traffic areas, which must meet highest quality requirements.
